Monday, June 16, 6:30 p.m.

 What would you give for a letter from your Dad in which he wrote of his love for you and his blessing on your life?   Very few have such a letter but we can change that. On June 16 at 6:30 we are having an “Informational Cookout” to inform our men how we can express ourselves with letters in the coming months to our spouse, our children, and other family members (or future children). This movement sweeping across American is coming to SBC. Be sure to sign up to come to the Cookout the day after Father’s Day.

 The Season is underway! Join us for a great time of fellowship as we gather to throw a little, catch a little and hopefully get some hits. Games are at Gahagan field.  Enjoy playing...or just watching.

These are some of the things you hear on the field as guys from SBC gather for twice a week games at Gahagan Fields.  The friendship, the sportmanship and the fellowship all make for an excting season of hitting, catching, laughing and enjoying each other's company.  Come play...come watch, as we enjoy "Re-creation" with other men.

In The Power of a Praying Husband, Stormie helps men pray effectively for their wives and marriages. With stories and examples from her own marriage, Stormie encourages men to lovingly intercede for their wives in every area, including priorities, emotions, motherhood, fears, and sexuality. With comments from well-known Christian men as well as a foreword by Stormie's husband, The Power of a Praying Husband is an ideal study for men wanting to serve their wives and family.
Screven Association Men's Supper
Third Monday of Each Month SBC is hosting the May meeting

Men, you are cordially invited to this monthly supper held at various churches throughout the Association.  We leave SBC at 6:00 p.m. to travel to other churches where we join hundreds of other men for a time of fellowship and inspiration. In addition to the great food, you can meet men from other churches as well as get to know the men from our church better.  Make plans to go this month.
