Welcome to the Summerville Baptist Church Preschool & Children's Ministries! Here at SBC we partner with the home in guiding children towards a relationship with Jesus Christ, and teaching them to live according to God's Word. We offer a variety of wonderful classes and programs for both grade school children and preschoolers to help them learn more about becoming a disciple of Christ. Join us and experience the fun, exciting Bible learning for yourself!
Vacation Bible School
Come to the Islands! Surf's up, so grab your surfboard and head for the waves! During VBS 2008, kids will know, speak and live God's truth -- aloha style. Vacation Bible School is June 9-13, from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. This five-day summer event for kids combines creative Bible study, cool crafts, fun games, exciting music, fabulous food, and more to share the wonderful news of Jesus! VBS is geared for kids ages 4 (by September 1, 2007) through Grade 6 (completed). Sign up now!
Preschool Ministry
Preschool Reading Club: Stories of Creation Kids ages 2 through Kindergarten Wednesday Mornings from July 2 - August 6 Children are welcome with their parents to browse the library and enjoy stories, crafts, snacks, prizes and more. Story time is 10:00-11:00 a.m., and the library will be open for browsing before and after story time. Don't miss this opportunity to share the joy of reading with your child!
Preschool Sunday School Preschool Sunday School provides age-graded (birth-K5) Bible learning activities for children. These activities include a weekly age-appropriate Bible lesson, arts & crafts, songs, games, and more. It gives young children the foundation they need to love God more and more as they learn and grow.

Children's Ministry
Children's Sunday School Each Sunday morning we provide a wonderful time of Bible study for children in Grades 1-6. This time combines understandable and powerful Bible lessons along with creative learning activities designed to reinforce and apply the lesson to children's lives. We believe our Bible study time should be a fun and exciting place for kids to come and learn about God.
Kid's Connection is an exciting discipleship program for 1st-6th Graders on Sunday evenings from 4:30-6:00. Wednesday 6:15 -7:30 p.m. 90^ois a special preteen ministry for Sixth Grade students to help them as they transition from children's ministry into student ministry.
