Recognition in the Authority of the Bible.

There is a passion and commitment to Christ and His church to "Exalt the Lord, Evangelize the lost, Equip believers, and Expand the ministries."

Members are submissive to the leadership and control of the Holy Spirit.

Prayer is a priority.

The church is oriented to the future rather than the past.

There is an awareness that members are stewards of all God has entrusted to them – time, resources, skills, and spiritual gifts.

Every member has a purpose and is important in the ministry of the church.

Members trust one another.

There is an emphasis on building healthy relationships in church, homes and community.

Disciples become more like Christ in attitude, character and conduct.

Family at worship

We want you to feel at home at Summerville Baptist
Come visit us this Sunday and experience a fellowship of love. We've put together a few frequently asked questions to help you find your way around.

Summerville Baptist is a church to call home! If you'll be visiting for the first time this weekend look for one of our many greeters. They'll be able to help you find your way around the church campus.

Where Can I Park?
Due to traffic, it's best to arrive at least ten minutes before service begins. Visitor parking is available all around the church including our Preschool area and near the auditorium for your convenience.
Need directions?

What Should I Wear?
Wear what makes you comfortable. You'll see people in full "Sunday dress" and others dressed more casually. We want you to feel at home!

Is Childcare Available?
We have a staff of caring childcare workers to take care of your preschooler during worship. There are Sunday School classes for preschoolers and children geared especially for their age group.  And don't worry, we've implemented a great notification system in the event your child needs you.

Where is Morning Worship Service Held?
Our campus is setup with parking surrounding our buildings.. Every Sunday morning there are always people at every entrance as well as in the auditorium to help you find your way around. They'll be wearing greeter name tags. Worship service is held in our auditorium which will is on the corner of our campus  All of the
Sunday School classes are in the various educational buildings.

What Kind of Music Can I Expect?
Music is a magnificent way to praise and please God. The 9:00 a.m. worship service is more celebrative/blended and the 11:30 worship is contemporary in style. You can learn more about our music in the
music ministry web page.

What is Sunday Morning Worship Service Like?
People gather in the auditorium and there is always an excitement in the air as people talk with one another. The services are varied but there is always great music, prayers and a life-changing message. The service ends with an
invitation to know Christ personally.

Special Assistance
