Two days ago, we received some wonderful news.  The story set we’ve been working on for the past 2 ½ years was fully approved by our Wycliffe consultant.  Throughout the project, we have had to send in each story to her to be looked at to make sure it is Biblically accurate.  Each story had to be approved along the way, but then we had to have the entire set of 33 stories approved.  The past few weeks have been hard as we’ve worked to finish final recordings, as well as get all the stories to our consultant for the final check. Needless to say, it was a very happy moment for me when we received full approval!  I was literally jumping for joy! 

The work is not over.  Right now we are trying to make CD’s of the story set to send back to US for our Campus Crusade partners.  They will archive all the stories. 

Upon my return in Niger, I will work on making master cassette copies of our story set and then duplicating it.  I will travel to the annual Fulani believer meeting with some tapes.  

Please pray for this meeting, as over 200 Fulani people gather from all over Niger and other countries.  Pray that it will be led by the Spirit and that believers will be encouraged by one another.  Pray also as Fulbe receive the story set on cassette, that they’ll take it back to their families and the word of God will spread rapidly.
