Young Adults  Experiencing Life Together

adults in line

Young Adults at Summerville Baptist include several groups of 20's & 30's who are enjoying life together.  Whether it is on Sunday at church or other times the young adults get together for parties, games, sports or just eating out. Centered around the Sunday School classes the young adults find common interests in which they can dialogue about spiritual matters and how to live in today's world.

The 20's group led by Michael & Sherry Atkinson meets in SEB 201. Young married couples as well as those who are young professionals fill this room every week meeting and making new friends. A lot of activity goes on beyond Sunday morning as the girls get together throughout the week for play days or just to have some coffee.

The 30's groups are led by Jana Langhal, Jamie Wood, Eddie Taylor and Lisa Walden and meets next door in SEB 202. Thirties have their hands full with children, job schedules and other demands that life brings. People from all walks of life are part  30's as they find common threads that turn in to ropes and friendships of strength.

We are going through Five Things God Uses to Grow Your Faith an extremely insightful video study, by Andy Stanley, pastor of Northpoint in Atlanta. The accompanying video, the book and great conversation will help you to sort through some of the issues you are facing right now as a young adult. Hope to see you there.
