Bert's Bytes - I Am

O LORD you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect

faithfulness you have done marvelous things, things planned long ago.

Isaiah 25:1 NIV

I encountered this verse recently in my devotional reading. It reminds me that God is the “I AM” of the past, present, and future. And especially of the future that is always before us. With the Kingdom Come endeavor, we celebrate today, which was once the future, and move forward into our tomorrows confident of God’s perfect faithfulness and the marvelous plans He will reveal.

We are thankful for the foundation laid by those who have come before us at Summerville Baptist Church. We are grateful for everyone who serves every day to Build and Bring and Bless the Rest. Thank you for joining together as we move forward together in faith to further God’s Kingdom on earth.

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
