What Have We Learned in 2020? - Bert's Bytes

What did you learn in 2020?
How will what you learned in 2020 improve your life in 2021 and beyond?
These can be heavy questions, but ones that are worthy of answering. It is said so often that 2020 has been a year like none other, and we are glad to see it go! We have “learned” many things we never thought we would have to learn. We “hope” we will never experience another year like it and “hope” for better days ahead. At the same time, we want to remember the things we have learned and the many positive differences that have come from the challenges. Hope always looks forward and not behind. As Christ Followers, we are called to live out the hope for the future that we have in Him.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead and into an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you. 1 Peter 1:3-4 CSB
This hope will not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Romans 5:5 CSB
Let us hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, since he who promised is faithful. And let us watch out for one another to provoke love and good works, not neglecting to gather together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day approaching. Hebrews 10:23-25 CSB
With Hope Together!
