Eddie's Expo - Advent & Christmas Season

I love the advent and Christmas season. Decorations abound in homes around the community, and the church always looks festive with the Christmas décor in place. People seem a bit friendlier, as the special season brings back remembrances of childhood and discovering that perfect gift under the Christmas tree. While getting a great gift is always fun, giving someone the best gift is always better. December offers you the chance to give that perfect gift as you build your faith and make a difference in someone’s life who you know needs to experience the love of Jesus this Christmas.

Jingle Jam is this Sunday, December 4, at 5:00 PM and offers a fun time for fellowship and Christmas fun for the entire family. Invite a friend to come with you and introduce them to some of our church family.

Sounds of Christmas coming Sunday, December 11, at 3:00 PM and 5:30 PM, is our musical celebration featuring adult, student, and children’s choirs with full orchestra. It is an excellent opportunity to invite people in your life to hear the gospel through music. Worship Center doors open one hour before each presentation. Free admission, no ticket required.

Christmas Eve at Summerville Baptist offers three candlelight services this year at 4:00 PM, 6:00 PM, and 8:00 PM. We will have baptism at the services and carols of the season, making this a great “invite and bring” event for your friends, coworkers, neighbors, and family.

The perfect gift this Christmas is a changed life resulting from your simple invitation to bring someone with you to church, where they can experience firsthand the love of God and the love of God’s people.
