Gratitude - Randy's Remarks
This Sunday, we are preparing for the beginning of Advent as an expression of gratitude to God for His love for us. The more a person experiences the fullness of Christ, the by-product always is a deeper sense of gratitude. (See 1 Timothy 1:12) If you are home but unable to be here with us Sunday, you can participate via live stream.
Personally, I have much to be grateful for: An amazing wife who loves Jesus more than she loves me, a great family, and a fantastic church family. Thank you for inspiring this community in 2020 by staying faithful and mission-focused. Your support, love, and generosity is bearing fruit for the Lord. Thank you for allowing me to serve with you and this fantastic staff team at SBC!
Stabs of Joy!
It returns for the third year on December 13, as we observe the Advent of Joy. So prepare your “stab story” to bless the rest of us. If you are new to SBC, you won’t want to miss it.
Blessings to you all!
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. Colossians 4:2 NIV
