James' Jam - SB Pinewood

Have you ever played ping pong? Such a great game, right? It’s like tennis if tennis did not involve running and exercise and could be played in the A/C. I’m pretty competitive, and I used to think I was pretty good at ping pong. But then, one day, I happened to come across a professional ping pong match on ESPN, and I quickly realized that what I call ping pong and what those guys call ping pong are not the same thing! What the pros were playing was a completely different game! They were able to do things with a paddle and a ping pong ball that I couldn’t even imagine!

When it comes to our faith, I’m so glad that God is capable of so much more than we are! And even more incredibly, God is willing to put His Spirit within us and empower us to join Him in his work.

As we continue to move towards the launch of SB Pinewood, and as we continue to see God move in powerful ways at our downtown campus, let’s pray together that God will work in our lives and use our lives for his glory!

“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”

— The Apostle Paul, from a Roman prison, recorded in Ephesians 3:20-21
