James' Jam - This Weekend

"Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season, we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have an opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith." - Galatians 6:9-10

Paul wrote these words to the churches of Galatia, reminding them that there is a calling on their life to walk by the Spirit, to make a spiritual impact on the world around them. I love Paul's use of the phrase "as we have opportunity." On the one hand, every moment of every day is an opportunity to do good, to "sow to the Spirit." On the other hand, there are specific moments where there is a specific opportunity to make an impact together and do good in a way that goes beyond what would normally be possible.

That's the heart behind Impact::Together Weekend. It's a chance for our church to move outside the walls of the building and tangibly "bless the rest" of the community. There's still time for you to get on board! For more info or to sign up, head to sbcentral.life or call the church office!
