James' Jam - One Church, Two Locations

I love summer at Summerville Baptist! It’s always an exciting time with all the different ministry opportunities and events. It seems like the last couple of years, we’ve also seen a lot of guests over the summer as new people move to the area and look for a church family to call home.

One of the most exciting things about the summer is the opportunity for us to be “one church in two locations.” Each Sunday, we gather on two different campuses — but in the summer, we’ll come together for VBS, for “Cookout on the Lawn” the evening of July 2, youth missions and camp, and more!

All this to say, we’ve got an incredible opportunity in front of us this summer, to get involved in ministering to this community, to jump into a LifeGroup, and to be part of welcoming guests into the family at SB. As Paul says in 1 Corinthians 16:9 (CSB), there is a “wide door for effective ministry that has opened for [us].” Let’s continue to “build and bring” and pray for God to use us this summer to impact Summerville and beyond.
