Guest Services

Whether it's your first Sunday or 25th year at Summerville Baptist, we always want you to feel welcome and cared for!

Our Guest Services team has the privilege of creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Our volunteers have fun, share community with a team, and play a significant role in providing an environment that leads to connecting with God and each other.

We are always looking to add to our Serve Family... click to get started.

SBcentral is our information hub to greet guests, answer questions, provide information about our church, distribute gift bags, encourage guests to fill out a Connection Card, walk guests to their destination, engage guests in conversation, and make everyone feel welcomed.

  • Welcome Team

If you’ve got a great smile, friendly personality and a genuine desire to help others, then you fit perfectly as part of the Welcome Team. We greet everyone on Sunday and guide them to where they need to go and greet guests at the Sanctuary door to hand out service programs and encourage community.

  • Nursery, Preschool and Extended Care Services

We serve the Lord by providing a safe, fun, and loving environment for children, while helping families to love, connect, and serve. Childcare for infants, crawlers, and early walkers with a Bible story based Sunday School for toddlers through 4 year olds. We are always looking for more people to help love on these kids. Volunteers serving with children and students, must have a background check.

  • Safety Team

The goal of the Safety Team is to show the love of God by sacrificing time and using our talents to promote and provide a safe, peaceful atmosphere for children, members and guests who come to Summerville Baptist Church.

  • Fellowship Team

The Fellowship Team plans and implements ministries that increase fellowship in our community. This includes Thanksgiving meal, Fourth of July Celebration, etc.

  • Parking Lot Team

We need a few good men or women with a gift of hospitality to work Sundays. If you’re available for half an hour before the service starts, we want you! Be part of the ministry that plays a key role in setting the tone for worship.
